Take a look at my most recent book haul…

So I have bought more books surprise, surprise! I couldn’t help myself there was a great 99p / £1.99 sale on ibooks. Which is funny really as I was always anti digital book but I have been turned! When it’s quiet at work I can read off my phone and I get through quite a lot so I have to be stocked up!

A couple of these books were presents for my birthday and valentines so it’s not just me I promise.

1. Dumplin by Julie Murphy
I got this because I LOVED the film on Netflix and had no idea it was a book.

2. Girl With A Pearl Earring by Tracy Chevalier
This was 99p so why not. Never read it before but someone has told me it is a really good read.

3. The Rules Do Not Apply by Ariel Levy
Really into memoirs lately, I’ve seen this book everywhere recently so wanted to give it a read.

4. The Lifes and Loves of a He Devil by Graham Norton
I’ve always been a huge Graham Norton fan I find him hilarious and his book was on sale on ibooks, so snatched that right up!

5. Damaged by Martina Cole
My lovely boyfriend bought me this for Valentine’s Day. Not something I would pick up myself, though I have read Martina Cole in the past and enjoyed her books.

6. The Cactus by Sarah Haywood
I have no knowledge about this book, I basically bought it because I love cactus plants. I’m pretty sure this book isn’t about plants but I will read and find out.

7. American Gods by Neil Gaiman
My dad watches the TV show and says it’s brilliant I also recently read my first Neil Gaiman book and loved it! This was also on sale so snapped it up.

8. The Proposal by Jasmine Guillory
This is the most recent Reece Witherspoon book club pick, I’ve already started it, I’m still trying to get into it. I thought it would be more than just a soppy romance but I don’t think it is.

9. The Charmed Life of Alex Moore by Molly Flatt
This was in the most recent Reading In Heels box. It’s apparently like The Matrix and Black Mirror…sounds weird but good.

11. The Mermaid and Mrs Hancock by Imogen Gower
I’ve wanted to read this for ages! But it’s always so expensive, saw it in Sainsburys for £3 and now it is mine YAY!

Wow 10 books opps! I’m sure I will get through them quickly. What books have you purchased recently? Anything I should also buy? (I will never stop) Lets chat 🙂 Katie x

Nothing like a good book haul to get you motivated to read! Unfortunately I have so many books to get through I’m on a bit of a ban. I’m only buying books buy authors who I collect, I did manage to pick a hardcover version of Lyrebird – Cecelia Ahern for £3! Happy reading, you’ve got some great bargains there 😊

The Mermaid and Mrs Hancock is a stunning book, I got it for Christmas and I loved it. I also really enjoyed The Cactus – cacti are mentioned in the book and the main character can be a bit prickly! It’s such a lovely read though, I adored it and hope you do too. Enjoy all of your new books 🙂
