So it’s only been a couple of weeks since the start of 2019 and I already have quite a big book haul… OPPS! Even though I got a lot of books for Christmas I just couldn’t resist certain bargains. I have bought enough books to do a part 1 and 2 for this book haul. Am I ashamed? NO! Am I a book buying addict YES! But who cares, not me!
These are 5 digital books I have purchased since the start of 2019.
1. Bird Box by Josh Malerman
I saw the film on Netflix and then realised it was a book. I hate it when that happens!!! But I loved the film so hoping I will also love the book. I got it because it was 99p on ibooks, who doesn’t love a book bargain?!
2. The Anxiety Solution by Chloe Brotheridge
Also just 99p on ibooks, I purchased this to help with some stress and anxiety I have been going through lately. So far this book is AMAZING and I can’t wait to share my whole review with you soon.
3. Conversations With Friends by Sally Rooney
I have seen so much hype about Sally Rooney lately and wanted to read this novel before I bought her latest book Normal People. This was also a discounted book i ibooks. They get me every time!
4. The Lie by C.L Taylor
This was a free novel on ibooks. I’m not too sure what it is about I think it is a thriller, I will save this one for when I go on holiday.
5. Once Upon A River by Diane Setterfield
I got this book via NetGalley, but I think it has been officially published as well now. I’m not 100% sure what this novel is about either, but I have seen positive comments and posts about it, so can’t wait to read it. Sometimes it’s better to not know much about a book before delving in to read it, don’t you think?
How many books have you purchased so far in 2019? Were they digital or paperbacks? Are you addicted to buying books? Katie x
