Hello everyone! Another month and another fantastic Reading In Heels Box. I have been having a pretty crappy week so this came at the perfect time, to give me a little pick me up.
Obviously don’t read any further if you don’t want spoilers!
READING IN HEELS BOX NOVEMBER
WHAT’S INSIDE THIS MONTH?
TAKING A CLOSER LOOK
Nemi Chai Teas are a a very special company that employ refugees to help them better integrate in the UK. They employ refugees to run tea stalls across London food markets, festivals, events and conferences which allows refugees to boost their English skills, regain confidence and work on skills required to enter the UK job market. They also make some delicious whole leaf tea blends!
Honerose Bakery is based in London and they create delicious biscuits, toasts and brownies all using organic ingredients and gluten-free flours. I haven’t eaten this yet but it is making my mouth water!
This months recommended read is States of Passion by Nihad Sirees. On a dark and stormy night a stranded traveller comes upon a remote mansion, and he has a story to tell. A novel full of twists and turns, set in Syria this love story sounds captivating and mysterious.
