Five For Friday – Christmas Wish List

It’s only a few weeks away until Christmas, so last weekend I went to Waterstones and took some photos of books I DESPERATELY want to read. I am currently saving money up as I am in the process of buying a flat, so unfortunatly I can’t spend all my money on books. Boo Hoo!!! This is my Christmas Wish list… trust me there are more than just 5x books on it but can’t break the Five For Friday Trend. So these are the 5 I REALLY REALLY want.

1. Normal People by Sally Rooney
I have seen this book EVERYWHERE and only heard positive things so I want to get my little bookish hands on it!

2. This Will Only Hurt A Little by Busy Phillips
I really like Busy Phillips and I would love to know more about her life.

3. Transcription by Kate Atkinson
This is another book I have seen everywhere recently. The storyline sounds really good.

4. Circe by Madeline Miller
A beautiful cover and I love magical books. So this is up high on the list.

5. Jamaica Inn by Daphne du Maurier
Earlier in the year I read Rebecca, which I LOVED! So I want to read more of du Maurier’s novels and this one is also set in Cornwall (where I live)

Have you read any of these books yet? What’s on your Bookish Christmas Wish List? I would love to know so get in touch. Katie x

Circe is fantastic, and I’m drooling over that cover a little bit! The Jamaica Inn cover is also gorgeous. I didn’t think that novel was as wonderful as Rebecca, but that is a hard book to live up to. Jamaica Inn is exciting though. I reviewed it and the mini-series based on it earlier this year.

The cover is beautiful!! I may buy it when it’s soft back though as hard backs are so pricey 😰 I have heard good things about Jamaica Inn, I suppose its very different from Rebecca but you are right Rebecca is too good to beat!
