October is Breast Cancer Awareness month! So I have searched my bookshelf for five pink books to support this important month!

1. Letters To My Fanny by Cherry Healey
A hilarious memoir of a woman in the 21st century, this book is a giant love letter to her own body. Hating how she looked for most of her life, nit picking at her stomach, her hair, what she wore Cherry realises that her body needs a big of TLC and she shouldn’t be so hard on herself on how she looks. Hilarious, warm, insightful and honest. This is such a great book!

2. I Am Malala by Malala Yousafzai
A harrowing and inspiring story from Malala who just wanted her right to education and got shot in the head for it. She is a brave and inspirational lady, a very good memoir to read.

3. Paper Aeroplanes by Dawn O’Porter
A YA book about two girls in school who become friends because of similar family circumstances and home lives. This unusual pair become the best of friends and go through everything together, it really made me nostalgic for school and what it was like to have friends, enemies and boy drama back in my teenage years!

4. The Life Changing Magic Of Not Giving A Fuck by Sarah Knight
One of the best books I have read all year. Sarah Knight makes you realise that you really shouldn’t give a fuck about what people think, that you don’t have to care about your second cousin’s wedding or waste any time, money or energy on anything you do not give a toss about. She teaches you how to not give a fuck without being rude to people and this book WILL change your life!

5. Bad Romance by Emily Hill
I still haven’t read all of this book, it is a series of short stories with a twist. The ones I have read so far have been great so can’t wait to finish this.
