Five for Friday – What’s on my wishlist

This week for Five for Friday I am looking at some books on my Amazon Wishlist which have been on there for over a year. I still haven’t got round to buying any of these books so if you have any opinions on them let me know and maybe I will buy these books quicker or delete from my list. Any thoughts are welcome 🙂

1. Practical Magic by Alice Hoffman
This used to be one of my favourite films when I was younger, I always watched it with my sister and it was great. I never even knew it was a book!

2. Iris Apfel: Accidental Icon

I absolutely adore Iris Apfel, I have watched documentaries about her but not read her book, I would love to get my hands on this she is an inspiring fashion icon.

3. Eiger Dreams: Ventures Among Men and Mountains by John Krakauer

I have read a few books by John Krakauer and enjoyed them. Into Thin Air is all about his expedition up Mount Everest and the troubles and danger him and his group were in. Into the Wild was about Chris Mccandles and the reason why he went off to Alaska to live alone in the wilderness. This is one of the books I haven’t read yet so will hopefully buy it.

4. The Humans by Matt Haig

This book has been recommended to me quite a few times now. I am not sure what it is about other than some man one day realises he hates everyone but his dog. Matt Haig is a popular author at the moment so I would like to read this at some point.

5. The Bell Jar by Sylvia Plath

This book is my sister’s favourite novel of all time and I have never read it. I am quite ashamed really as it is such a classic and I think I would like it.

Have you read any of these novels? Which ones do I need to purchase and read right now? Let me know 🙂 Katie x
