Sunday Sizzler – Pizza, Prosecco and Penguins

Welcome to the second instalment of Sunday Sizzler! Hope you enjoyed last weeks recipe, this week we have a delicious and healthy pizza for you to cook up and a great non-fiction book about a penguin to accompany it.

Recipe for Pizza on a Wrap

Serves 1

Ingredients:
White tortilla wrap (I find the weight watchers ones the best)
Tomato puree
Mozarella cheese
Whatever toppings you like!

Method:
Preheat your oven to 180

Grill the tortilla slightly on one side so it goes a little hard, turn it over and use the soft side for your toppings (this is to stop it falling through the slats in the oven!) put on as much tomato puree as you like and spread it around the wrap with the back of a spoon, add a small amount of mozzarella cheese. Put on whatever toppings you like, put on a bit more cheese and cook in the oven for 10 minutes. Easy peasy! Perfect for anyone on the go who doesn’t have time to cook.

To go with your perfect pizza I have chosen The Penguin Lessons by Tom Michell, a perfectly cute and true story about a how Tom rescues a penguin stuck in an oil spill in Uruguay and saves its life. Not only does he rescue him, he keeps him as a pet. Tom does try and take him back to the wild but every time he does the penguin just runs back to him. This true story is about true friendship, enchanting, heartwarming and sweet John Salvador the penguin transforms the lives of everyone he meets.
